No doubt due to Wallace's childhood hatred of his parents for forcing him to go to a boarding school, created many severe abandonment issues so when Spencer fired him from GOSY, Wallace has been obsessed stalking and torturing the Spencers for years and years. But to get back at his parents he hates Spencer? No wonder Wallace is a gaslighter that can't stop stalking the Spencers.
