Meaningless misunderstanding of "shorts". MMs often short stocks for a few minutes to facilitate quick order filling, and cover a couple minutes later.
Those 90 million all got covered. Apples & Oranges.

Open short positions by traders are not reported daily. No real way to know, except FINRA twice per month listings.

"It is easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled."

For those that don't get it, it means that people need to be more careful, and do good due diligence.
