Prepare for Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+), With Lynn Barr, CEO of Caravan Health

BEAVERTON, Ore. , May 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Lynn Barr, CEO of Caravan Health, will present a one hour webinar on the important new Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) initiative introduced by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Caravan Health CPC+ program, the most simple and effective way for primary care physicians and practices to profitably participate in the CPC+ initiative.

Medical practices that qualify for the CPC+ program will receive substantial up front payments from CMS to underwrite the costs of their investments in improved patient care. In addition, they are eligible for incentive payments based on their performance on quality and utilization metrics. Payments under this model encourage doctors to focus on health outcomes rather than the volume of visits or tests. Participation in CPC+ will favorably position providers for the significant changes to Medicare physician payment ushered in by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA).
