I also have certificates here in USA Anyone with success getting them accepted-- it would be great to have some info. Semper better warn your friend that if he has them in a safe they will be worthless if for whatever reason the issuing company decides they could not reach him. I and several family members had this happen. It is called escheating and is a legal way that states have of stealing your stock.
