You'd think they would have issued the fugitive warrant from Maricopa County, where Wickenburg is (and where Joel supposedly lived, at the corporate headquarters). So, why was it issued in Mohave County?

Unless someone knew that he had moved to Mohave County and tipped off the law? Kingman is in Mohave County, so is Bullhead City, Lake Havasu, and a host of smaller towns. Perhaps Joel didn't feel that it was safe to hang out in Wickenburg anymore. Between law enforcement, screwed-over investors, flaky business partners, and folks looking to serve him papers........well, every knock at his door must have made his heart skip a beat.

Hell, can you imagine opening your door and having His Royal Highness David Weems standing there?
