Some additional facts include MSLP total sales in 2014 was $177 million and fell to $166 million in 2015 and is certain to show a significant decline again in 2016 with the BioZone and Arnold Series revenue loss for the latter half of this year.
Inferring supply chain improvement is perplexing to me as MSLP has not payed at least $22 million of invoices to the contract supplier that made up 60% of total purchases in 2015. Whomever the new supplier, perhaps Nutra Blend, will most assuredly insist on pre-paid terms so as to not put themselves in the position Capstone Nutrition finds itself.
With the loss of the Arnold Series and BioZone sale in Q2, the company is certain to see a major revenue decline in Q3 forward.
The rule of business is you don't cut your way to profitability. You cut your way to insolvency.
