Excel's Coffee Shop

It boggles my mind to think how much things have changed in my lifetime, excel. We were among the last families on our street to get a television. My early years, there were radio shows we listened to during what is now called "prime time." I believe my vivid and very active imagination stemmed from listening to those shows and picturing in my mind what was going on. TV is a spoon fed medium where no imagination is necessary for the viewer.
Our telephone was a party line. I'm sure you remember those. Some phone numbers had letters in them and you had to get the operator to connect you to them. Ah, but how things have changed.
