That above statement seems quite foolish.

For "until one plate passes" will generate a certificate of certification, while all prior samples failed is ludicrous.

Imagine Bourque Industries creates a dozen Kryron plates, manufactured using the same procedure.

All dozen are tested, and only one protected the wearer from the blunt force trauma denoted by Bourque Industries as that "ready for service."

Conclusion: Bourque Industries quality control of the manufacturing process sucks*.

* expect lawsuits again Bourque Industries that drive it out of business (rightly so)

Inspections of recently manufactured vests to determine whether they are constructed in the same way as the original samples.
Follow-up ballistic testing.
