Yes, this strike is not about wages. But Verizon will keep telling the public what a nice raise they offered. And their CEO Lowell McAdams was on a picket line and didn't know that his company outsourced FIOS work to other countries. He kept claiming that they only outsource dsl which is a small amount. Last time I had a problem and called customer service for fios I asked the rep where they were located and the guy said Costa Rico. How is it that I know VZ is sending work to other countries but Lowell didn't? Take a listen:
