Hi Cay Ray
"I think AIM is a great manager, but it is dependent on when you make your original purchase."

Aim's methodology works no matter you make your original purchase.
It is not dependent on when you make your original purchase.
However, entering at a propitious time will enhance your probability of a successful aim position.
Now, when is a propitious time to start an initial aim position.
My experience is that the MACD Crossover (post 37824 and 40389)
is the most propitious time to enter an aim position.
Put another way; after you have selected your stock or ETF ,
ask yourself is this the most propitious time to start an aim position in your selected ETF or stock.
If a MACD crossover exist. Yes If a MACD divergence exist. No.
While you didn't name your ETF, I will bet that their was a divergence.
Hence, a non buy at your time of purchase. Check it out.
I use 24,52,9 monthly setting. The beauty of the MACD crossover
is that is visual.
