Live Ventures Inc is a holding company. Started out as scammy YP.com but taken over a few years ago and turned into a holding company for "profitable" companies.

Just reported Q2 ending 3/31/16 with a profit of 1.2 million and FD eps of .06. Dramatic turnaround in last 6 months. They acquired 80% of Marquis Industries in 7/15 and the remaining 20% in 11/15. First profit was qtr ending 12/31/15 of $700K and then this qtr improved to 1.2.

Most of the revs and profits come from Marquis. They are a top ten high end carpet manufacturer and have another division that extrudes the material used for artificial turf. Supposedly the only manufacturer of certain types of yarn for the turf in the world.

The other subsidiaries lose almost as much as Marquis makes. Whether they can turn those other units around and really boost profits is the question.
