My Take on the Show
1) Paxton- He comes out and reverts back to that awful tone on this song. worst of the night and it wasn't even close.
Grade D-
2) Mary- Solid Song, solid performance. Overall a good job. She seems to be getting a bit better for me.
Grade B+
3) Nick- Medicore vocal, didn't love it, didn't hate. it was bordering on okay and that is a stretch.
Grade C-
4) Hannah- Outside of one not so great note. I thought she did a very good job on that song. Sang well, liked how she did it. Felt something.

5) Shalyah- I'm a fan and yes she can sing, But that was so overdone for me. I didn't like her version, seemed like she was scheeching a bit on that rather then pure power. Hit a lot of good notes along the way though. But overall thought it was average.

6) Laith- Technically sang fine. But seemed like their was missing something with that song, I felt a little disconnected would be the word I would use. Decent performance, but I have seen him better, and I have seen that song covered better.

7) Adam- This was the tale of two songs. The first half I found boring the second half of that song was for me one of the better vocals of the night if not the best. Overall I like, wish 1rst half wasn't so boring though.

8) Allison- I know she can do all the vocal olympics, but her tone on that song I found very annoying. This song wasn't great. Yes she can do all the vocal tricks we get it, but it is also about how you use those tricks, and package them. For me this package was (a) A Bit over the top (B) Her tone didn't play well on that song (c) wrong song choice for her. Don't get me wrong she has a ton of talent, but I wouldn't exactly want to listen to that that long.

9) Bryan- I thought he was solid, way better then the last couple of weeks. I t was pretty good, but did have a few imperfections along the way.
