It's no surprise that they don't have a full time PR guy. I doubt there'd be enough for him to do. With Brennan leaving they're probably waiting for a replacement to handle shareholder inquiries.

The "strategic alternatives to enhance shareholder value" in the latest PR sounds fishy. The only thing I can think of is perhaps they're looking at somehow commercializing their biosynthesis process for CBD.

I don't know where the research occurs. Perhaps the scientists rent facilities at the university (I think they're affiliated with the University of Vancouver).
