Note the GOALS of the company as enunciated in the last 10-Q:
"NanoViricides, Inc. (the “Company”), is a nano-biopharmaceutical company whose business goals are to discover, develop and commercialize therapeutics to advance the care of patients suffering from life-threatening viral infections."

It's a sequential process, isn't it?
1. Discover
2. Develop
3. Commercialize

If the sequence had been completed, then commercialization wouldn't continue to be a goal. They seem to have discovered a few things and appear to be developing something, but that can only be confirmed by an actual development. We can be absolutely certain, though, that nothing has been commercialized. Besides, the company says so.

A new 10Q is due next Tuesday. Will they be announcing that they have achieved their goal?

This talk of commercialization goes back at least to the 10-KSB filed in October of 2007 as "NanoViricides, Inc. (the “Company”), is an early developmental stage nano-biopharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery, development and commercialization of anti-viral therapeutics."
I guess somebody told them at some point that they weren't engaged in any commercialization and that it was the same thing in 2007 that it is now...merely a goal...so they had better clean up the deceptive language. And they did.

But they might consider one more step.
The excuse for the use of the wording on the website is that the company was given an award "For its unmatched successful experience in the discovery, development and commercialization of anti-viral therapeutics".
They really should be giving it back.
Or at least remove the language. If not in service of the truth then to minimize any legal repercussions from its falsity.

"Successful commercialization is succeeding in the process of commercializing. It is not successfully having commercialized."
