Placing a GTC order will not prevent your shares from being lent if you hold the contract in an account with any kind of margin privilege associated, including those fast-turnaround type, where you can tap unsettled funds. The only way you can prevent your shares from being loaned is if you are in a cash account. and if you do want to loan your shares to shorters, you can make money doing that, too.
Besides this is the otc where there are no laws. Did y'all see the total broker non-voted shares on the proxy?
