As born-again believers we know that in order to have the relationship with Jesus that He so desires to have with us...we need to surrender our lives...our everything...to God! We know that because the Bible tells us...our preacher tells us...God tells us and we even sing that song from time to time..."I Surrender All". The thing is...have we? So lets ask ourselves a question. Am i willing to get on my knees right here and now and pray to God these words?
*Lord...take everything from my life that is holding me back in serving you.
*Lord... take everything from my life that is keeping me from being the person that you want me to be.
*Lord...take everything from my life that is causing me to walk outside your will..
Is that scary? Are we truly willing to open our hands and let it all go? Remember..."Everything" could be any or all of these... job, house, car, finances, toys, health. What did Jesus mean when He said....Take up your cross and follow me? When Jesus picked up His cross...where did it take Him? Think about it!
