Serious question.... Why do you want the Government to illegally seize the GSEs? You do understand that means the end of Capitalism as we know it in the US, right? Means your shorts are also no good.... The Gov completely wipes out everything and nationalizes, I bet they tell you that you can't collect on those shorts and you will be hit with some type of tax that will ultimately put you in the hole. If they can take over investor owned companies without compensation, it also means they have total power and can / will reach into your bank account and collect "their" assets..... Seems a bit like the DPRK, Venezuela, etc....
