But yah, Kelo v. City of New London made me feel a little "sketched out" as well. It basically gave power to the government that it never had before...and gave lobbying a whole new bankroll.
Now, if we lose here, it is basically saying that the Government can take whatever it wants for whatever reason it wants. TOO MUCH POWER!
Of course, do we really own anything anyway? Technically, no one owns anything. As a great man once said...We don't really have the right to say any property belongs to us. We only have the right to say we have the ability to use and enjoy property while its in our possession.
