Yes, I recently read about that situation where the government exercised its right to "Eminent Domain"... That was my first time when I felt a bit sketched out as to what our government would / could do. However, I also recall reading something similar where they tried that in the 30's - 40's (?) dealing with the railroads, initially successful but rescinded by the courts and the land owners prevailed. I am really hoping that happens for those whom were not compensated for their land and such cases presented with the findings of the AIG decision ultimately helps us and gives the courts a glimpse of the Gov constantly attempting to overstep their bounds.
