RNET looks bullish right now to me, but earnings are on 5/9/16

Usually bullish trending stocks will ramp up more two weeks before the announcement.

Then during the announcement there will be a reflexive "buy the rumor sell the news" market reaction regardless of results.

Option traders could buy the stock with a protective put strategy during earnings announcements.

Or one could wait until earnings is announced and if it still looks like a buy then enter. A good way is to wait for a chart breakout triangle after earnings, to avoid sudden gap down surprises.

Good earnings usually form ascending triangle breakout patterns to trade days to weeks after, so tight timing earnings is not required to profit from them really.

Earnings could have happened much earlier, and the trader is looking for a breakout later days or weeks from then. Size the position so if it stops out it doesn't cause a huge account loss.

Good luck!
