I was directly challenged, so I responded

Yeah, I know it's silly, but sometimes when a conclusion is challenged, there's a need to respond.

Perhaps it wouldn't be a big deal if the company had regularly been posting on the Kush Cakes site, but when there have been no posts since Oct 23, 2015, and then activity about the BIS which includes a "retasked" post that includes a comment from Dec 31, 2015, the conclusion seems obvious.

I would have had much more respect for Dewmar had they simply posted a photo of the box with some kind of 1-year anniversary special, something like:

We welcome the BIS to Denver, the home of Kush Cakes! While we didn't attend the BIS this year, in celebration of the one year anniversary of the introduction of Kush Cakes at the 2015 Big Industry Show, for a limited time, Kush Cakes are on sale at a 15% discount. Become a distributor by ordering three boxes, and we'll send you one of these limited edition commemorative T-shirts, signed by our spokesman at the 2015 introduction, "King of Pot", Bruce Perlowin.
