For all the shorts know, the university studies have been completed but they were done under the direction of a potential merger or acquisition candidate and any day or week now that news will come out.

If I were a short I wouldn't be the slightest bit concerned about this fantasy. It's amazing how many people think that some big pharma company is planning to acquire NNVC when they have nothing in clinical trials. Of course this fantasy has been a recurring one on this board for at least 6 years.

Why would an acquisition even be beneficial to NNVC shareholders? Theracour would be able to renegotiate everything and it is in Theracour's interest to screw over NNVC shareholders. Dr. Diwan owns a substantially higher percentage of Theracour than of NNVC so it is in his interest to move as much money as possible from NNVC (the marketing firm) to Theracour (the holder of all intellectual property).
