CBD from industrial hemp, like MJNA's RSHO, is already legal in Alabama. This "Leni's Law" will allow patients to use CBD from marijuana strains like "Charlotte's Web", which means that MJNA will have to compete for the market in Alabama against CBD that -- rightly or wrongly -- is perceived to be better than CBD from industrial hemp (the "whole plant" thing), and is also cheaper to make and sells at a lower price.
Alabama will join a bunch of states that have passed this type of law over the past couple of years, and as this has happened, MJNA's revenue has fallen.
Why do you think that MJNA is trying to grow in Mexico and Brazil? There is less competition in those countries, for now.
