Despite the efforts of the SEC, hijacked shells remain an exceedingly visible problem in the penny stock market. These shells are appealing because the hijackers are able to avoid disclosure of their disciplinary and regulatory backgrounds, plus how they obtained control of the entity in the first place. It's usually difficult to find accurate information about the parties involved, making their use in this market ripe for fraud and abuse. Hijacked Shells exactly like HESG have been used in many of the penny p&d schemes and are one of the largest enforcement failures in these penny stock markets.
It does appear someone is attempting to use HESG as their P&D yet again.
