They were below a year ago's, yes. But they may have been than what the analysts expected, if not a little better, judging by the market's reaction.

I don't know because Nasdaq.com has already deleted this Q's numbers from their analysts forecast section.

You can lead a horse to water. But you can't make him get down on one knee and do an Al Jolson impression!
