And yet the DOD has been instructed to implement Win 10 across the DOD by Jan 2017.

You were once a reporter. Do some research and see how Win 10 is based on the TPM 2.0. In all it's glory.

The NSA wants security for the critical infrastructure, in protecting the assets of the US Gov't etc. but not so much for you and I. JMO
