It was great to get out again. I had some trepidation because my stamina hasn't been good, not to mention a month and a half without any serious practice. I could never find a rhythm. I dug deeper than I ever have last night. I was fighting off the back foot all night but somehow pulled it off.

The health report is not good. The new mass is cancer, and I'm scheduling to have the organ removed. Damn it all.

I still struggle with what to do. I've got a 33% chance of lasting 5 years with the organ removal, and within that survival time there's a 50% chance of the cancer recurring somewhere else. I'm tempted to just say fuck it and hope for a couple more good years. Unfortunately, there's no guarantee the two years would be good.

I need a long shot experimental solution in the next couple weeks, or I'll have to have the bladder removed. There's a lot more repercussions to that the meet the eye. It sucks. I don't see a silver lining in that cloud.
