when I look at the Bernie supporters I don't see the maturity of understanding what is at stake.
Oh c'mon, it was even more divided in 08 and the Hill people were even less understanding of what was at stake. The PUMAS were a loud and untied front against Obama and 33% even vowed to vote for McCain. I don't see anything like that happening this time around.
Depending on how each candidate rallies their supporters around the other when this is over, will determine how united the democrats will be. Hillary did a great job in 08 for Obama and I'm certain if she's the nominee, Sanders will do the same for her.
May 2008 CNN Poll: 50% Of Clinton Supporters Said They Wouldn't Support Obama.
(CNN) - Just how badly is the Democratic Party divided?
According to the exit polls, half of Clinton's supporters in Indiana would not vote for Obama in a general election match up with John McCain. A third of Clinton voters said they would pick McCain over Obama, while 17 percent said they would not vote at all. Just 48 percent of Clinton supporters said they would back Obama in November.
Poll: 1 in 4 Sanders supporters won't vote for Clinton
One out of every four Bernie Sanders supporters said they will not support Hillary Clinton in the general election if she is the Democratic Party's standard bearer, according to the results of a McClatchy-Marist poll out Wednesday.
