You should. These types of predictions are easily verified by simple online sample size calculator for survival analysis. Trial is 1:1 randomized, N=582, alpha (p)=0.05, beta (1-90% power)=0.1, HR=0.75 for mOS 6 vs 8 months or 7.5 vs 10 months, 0.8 for 8 vs 10 months, 0.83 for 10 vs 12 months, 0.86 for 12 vs 14 months. You can do one of two ways, either enter N to calculate power or enter power to calculate N. You'll see the only possible outcome for a trial with 90% power N=582 is HR around 0.75.

Note, don't want to make this too complicated, the number will not match official calculation exactly because official calculation could incorporate enrollment and follow-up and other assumptions, but the difference is only marginal.

I don't want to mention how ridiculous those 9:1 event ratio predictions were again. You can't make things with ZERO chance of happening happen. Time is the best judge on who's right and who's consistently wrong! Would be glad to check back months or years later on my statements and assumptions here. 2012 was a long time ago. Good luck!
