Top 3 to 2 & Finals 1 & 2

Sorry for the tardy post, I have been busy and as you all know too well I am tiring of this once great show. I did my same old- same old, all notes taken before judges replies, nothing has been changed. Of course after watching the final results last night I wished I had posted my review the day before. However, I am on the west coast and I DVR the show so I can skip the commercials, it's 11: PM or so before I am done watching an then it's sleepy time for me.

Round 1 - Top 3 Perform:
Trent - I liked it, he sang heart and soul. A-
Dalton - I still say this kid can't sing, he was off. F
La'Porsha - Better than most of her stuff. C+

Dalton Goes Home - Finally!

Round 2 - Simon Fuller's Choice:
Trent - Great song, a true fav'; I did not care for his rendition, but in all he did fairly well with it. B-
La'Porsha - All tricks, tricks I'm tired of, not impressed. C-

Round 3- Viewers Choice:
Trent - Good performance, as usual too high for my personal taste, but still one can appreciate his effort. B+
La'Porsha - Did not like it. C-

I think I gave this singer too much much credit, she is not as good as I had previously thought she was. She is clever and I think she fooled a bunch of us because in place of being A-One-Trick-Pony, she is a Muli-Trick-Pony. Lot's of ews & aws, screech and scream. I don't believe I am the only one seeing her for being less talented now; if I am noticing this millions have already I'm sure.

Finals Part 1 & 2:
I enjoyed seeing most of the past contestants and even a few of the judges, LOL!

A good timer for all, a few laughs and a lot of memories reactivated, and of course a few stinkers performances from a few, but only a few.

However, one thing Idol did that was probably not intended was to remind us how truly talented a lot of this contestants were compared to this stinker of a season; the wrong choices on who stayed and how lack-of-talent they are really sticks out now.

A good time in all, it was a great goodby and I am so glad Simon showed up, for I don't think this show would have achieved as much if not for him and brutal honesty. And wasn't Paula looking good, and Jay-Lo gave a last image for sure.

The Winner Is!

Trent! WOW... I'm shocked, I actually said out loud, Far Out!!! The judges looked very surprised.

I am so happy America got it right, and from witnessing Trent's emotions it appears that while La'Porsha is not as great a singer as too many believed, she is a very nice person, good for her; this is good to see. BTW, I think Trent's Radio Song will do well, we will hear it the air I believe.

Well friends, it is time for goodbye. FWIW, I am going to leave some reviews on the The Voice board in case you are interested. I don't how long I will do this, but I am going to try and finish the season now that they are in the The Live Shows. I like the show and I like writing reviews.

Take Care Friends.
