my take on tonight's very special Idol...........

..

they should have called this "The rise and fall of American Idol" as it was kind of like that.

anyway..

they show my fav's and my most fav.... kelly clarkson...

they showed details of season 1 that i missed, as i didnt know about the show til later on and then my hubby and i got hooked, about when it was down to the top 10 with clarkson.

and if you caught it, they showed a younger Jimmy Fallon saying that kelly will win, in a quick interview. I love that!

so far, this was the best show of the season and it gets even better as the show goes on.

they talk about back stage troubles and all kinds of cool facts.

i had forgotten, until tonight, but it reminded me of when i was taking 911 calls for the biggest county (south of DC) and i had to sign up and "time" my 10 minute break with the idol finally.

the whole place held their breath as the winner was called. but dont worry, calls got answered.

i loved tonight's show.... i cried a little, laughed a lot, smiled a ton.. it felt like a funeral as it kind of is, for American Idol.

ok, lets see what the awful finalists do this week.... back to reality. sigh.
