Who needs to copy? They gave a working model to S. Korea and one to Costa Rico.
The Asian model, they even gave them training as to how to build it. The C.R. model got left down there, I assume, with that A/C company. (Betcha, they've made more.)
This was one of the biggest examples of STUPID that I've ever seen.
It's still beyond me why they didn't spend much less money putting this thing in the back of a pick-up and driving around showing it to U.S. customers and taking it to trade shows. At around 15K a pop, they could have stayed on the road indefinitely and eventually made a multiple unit sale. Not to mention, they would have been doing business in a country that has strong patent laws.
