I am not saying Sam's decision was justified or a good decision. I considered walking away from my investment since the company was expanding into areas that have not seen historical success, making me uncomfortable.

But, in my opinion, this decision was forced by market conditions. The strength of Sam's leadership is being willing to admit the mistake (actions speak louder than words, my friend) and steer the ship back on course. And...

Here we sit today with a strong core business continuing to execute and beginning to overcome bad management decisions. Hopefully, that continues.

Had the Sysco-USF merger executed, there quite possibly would be no IVFH right now.
