Correction needed: ATT reached $55 in 1999 and $43 in 2007. I've only owned it a few years since I inherited a fistful of old Baby Bell paper stock certificates that represented far more money than I assumed at first. Not only that but Telephone was holding years of fat unclaimed dividends. Definitely a lesson about record keeping. The former owner was about 95 when she died.
So T is NOT in all-time record high territory. Just a record since the Great Recession.
