Which means that Makmann is toast. If it's true. Probably lying. Makmann is nothing without Purdon, because Purdon controls the money. Makmann is just a flunky for Purdon to hide behind. Purdon looks for totally incompetent and not too bright accomplices who will do whatever he says.

Which doesn't let Makmann of the hook at all, he's as much of a scumbucket as his puppet master.
