Sepsis Definition Update
The Third International Consensus Definitions Task Force just published their new guidelines for the definition of sepsis in JAMA*

Sepsis was defined as:
“The life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a
dysregulated host response to infection”
•This aligns very well with the message that we have been communicating with KOLs
