Not all facts are useful, interpreted correctly, or for that matter even still relevant by the time they are unwittingly and erroneously released by paid stock promoters such as “STOCK CALLER”. For instance;

1)MMMW (Mass Megawatts WINDPOWER) has basically discontinued pursuing or the marketing of wind powered electricity generation projects, as evidenced in their 8K filed on 3/28/15, or nearly a year ago now. Refer to the second sentence of the report as copied here;

As a result, the company is reducing expenses and operations related to its wind power business.

2) Some investors think otcshortreport represents open short positions, and that those positions will need to cover. But as explained below, otcshortreport is daily MM activity of processing orders, to keep an orderly and timely market flowing.

When looking at the FINRA short volume, one can compare it to the otcshortreport for the same day, and most likely often FINRA Equity Short Interest will be MUCH lower.

For example FINRA reports x,xxx on Dec 31, 2015.
Otcshortreport might show y,yyy,yyy for the very same date!!

Not that otcshortreport is wrong, but that it is reporting on MM order filling information activity, not open short interest positions.

Here is the link to FINRA’s rule #4650 titled - “Short-intrest reporting”
