Why did Healios K.k.(Japan) give ATHX $15M, BEFORE NEWS on 2/18/16.
1) Because they expect the DELAYED MECHANISM of onset stroke data(29% of patients got EXCELLENT outcome 12 months AFTER therapy) to get ACCELERATED approval in Japan.
2) Because this DELAYED mechanism of action data are consistent with the "HEALING" hypothesis of basic science in REGENERATIVE medicine(Nobel Laureate,Shinya Yamanaka 2012).
