First of all Daniel J Duffy never turned a zero asset company into a $180m company.

It was proven that Daniel Duffy was nothing more than a con and a liar. He took the Preferred Internet Technologies Inc shell and used it for a pump&dump scam repeatedly ripping off investors using name/symbol changes, fraudulent claims, lies, and reverse splits.

Preferred Internet Technologies Inc (PITK) became Vision Real Estate Management & Development, Inc (VRMD) which became MEM Financial Solutions, Inc (MMFS) which became Sebastian River Holdings, Inc (SBRV) all while under Daniel J Duffy's control

Under every one of those names/tickers the company was nothing more than a scam with fake/exaggerated business operations. Duffy used the shell as his own insider enrichment scheme and for a few years got to live the high life off of money he received by ripping other people off with his lies and deceit.

I think Daniel Duffy thought he was a bigger "stock market star" than he really was. I doubt he had too many fans in the public market especially since his ticker did 4 big reverse splits while under his control completely wiping out shareholders over and over and over again so he could start over with his insider enrichment scheme again and again.

I visited the PITK/VRMD/MMFS/SBRV/NVOB message board and I couldn't find one single post where an investor had something good to say about Duffy. It is just post after post after post calling him a liar and a conman and a crook

Daniel J Duffy's conning extended way beyond his public ticker. He was also ripping people off through mortgage fraud and identity theft which led to him getting Indicted in October of 2009.

The guy is total scum. He even used his deceased father's Social Security number to falsify documents as part of the scheme.

Daniel Duffy's father-in-law, John Torres, got murdered November of 2009 while Duffy's Mortgage fraud charges were pending. According to reports, John Torres was cooperating with authorities in the case.

In May of 2010 while his mortgage fraud charges were still pending, Daniel Duffy was arrested along with Morciano Dort for the trafficking of oxycodone. Duffy was also charged with evidence tampering in that case

Morciana Dort had previously been arrested as the get-away driver in the John Torres murder.

Eventually the police investigation showed that Daniel J Duffy had paid off his drug trafficking buddies to kill his father-in-law in hopes of avoiding prosecution for the mortgage fraud.

Having his father-in-law killed didn't work. Duffy still was sentenced to 7 years for the Mortgage fraud and identify theft then life in prison without parole for his involvement in the murder and other various charges including witness tampering, obstruction of justice, and the drug trafficking

I just don't see how having the name of a known lying, cheating, murdering, drug dealing conman linked to a ticker is a good thing.

Even if the PITK shell did see a monumental rise in the price the day the dormant shell woke up because of a press release that Daniel Duffy had acquired control of the dead ticker back in 2003 that has nothing to do with SCNP.


Now here is where things get interesting.

The new CEO of SCNP is Lindel Regis. Even without looking I was pretty sure I could find some connection between Lindel Regis and Daniel Duffy that goes beyond this book deal thing.

Sure enough Mr. Lindel Regis is married to Stephanie Manley (or at least have a baby together).

Stephanie Manley was a major insider in Sebastian River Holdings (SBRV) while Daniel Duffy was the CEO as this 2007 lawsuit filed by SBRV against Etrade clearly shows.

SBRV sued Etrade because Etrade froze the account of Stephanie Manley. According to the response by Etrade they froze the account because of fraudulent activity:

Duffy, Manley, and SBRV didn't bother to fight any more beyond that. They dismissed the case against Etrade.

Stephanie Manley is no doubt related to Steven Manley who was very briefly listed as the Chairman of SBRV in 2007. Steven Manley was arrested and charged with Daniel Duffy in the mortgage fraud scam. Steven Manley was sentenced to 3 years probation for his role.

So SCNP is a lot more than just a book deal with Daniel Duffy. We now have new management here at SCNP that can be directly linked to Daniel Duffy as being involved in his past scams.
