Very unlikely that the iPhone 7 will have XMM 7360, more likely to be Qualcomm MDM9x45 (higher speed, built on newer process, CDMA support). There's a rumor going around that Intel has won orders for the 4-inch iPhone refresh that's coming next month, but I wouldn't bet money on this materializing. Lack of CDMA in the Intel modems makes it a nonstarter for North America. Apple could do two different models, one for CDMA networks, one for GSM, but Apple seems to be aiming to reduce the # of SKUs it offers, not increase.

Intel recently bought VIA Telecom's CDMA modem assets so expect those to be integrated into future XMM modems. Once this is done, Intel will have a better chance of winning Apple iPhone modem business.
