I agree for the most part. But I think we should really look at what and how a stock forum on the internet really functions.
A board like ntek is created on a stock forum to advertise to the internet trading public. A scam stock board like ntek is created to 'pump' information out to a very small audience of people looking to make a quick buck. IMO the target audience is a mix of educated experienced, uneducated experienced, uneducated newbies and total dummies, idiots and lunatics.

Educated experienced traders = people who know what a scam is when they see it and do DD and then play momo and pump clown patterns or whatever else they consistently make money at. These people are almost always creating profit.

Uneducated experienced traders = people who day trade and jump in and out based on momo and quick checks of DD, uneducated meaning they don't know about the company nor even care. These people probably struggle to make consistent profits, but do make money.

Uneducated newbies = people without a clue about what a stock market is, believe most of what promoters say and let other people do their DD and maybe will get a clue and keep some money. Almost always in the red and thinks profits on paper are real and you don't lose unless you sell.

My opinion is the newbies, idiots and dummies only make up 20% of the forum population, the rest are promoters and lunatics preying on the other 20%. I also submit less than 40% are members with single accounts.

Dummies, idiots and lunatics = people who never learn, don't read anything or believe anything legit and think they'll get instantly millions in profits. Easy marks. Lunatics have all the conspiracies down pat. It's always shorty's, sec, finra or any other gov agencies fault for a criminal ceo and his company.
