The scammers are happy. For years on end they lied and spouted management platitudes while picking the pockets of shareholders. They took everything the gullible had. Now those who were scammed are slowly finding out they can't do anything about it and they are fading away. The scammers are encouraging the gullible to move on.

This is exactly the scenario the management and scammers hoped for.
