Apple is not cost effective. You don't seem to get that fact. Some of us, who have a lot of money and fly first class (you don't know what you're missing), simply don't need or want to carry their life's story around in their pocket, don't like those tiny screens for tiny fingers and tiny minds, are content to use Skype on their ultrabook PC's, think of Apple as a style company and are absolutely unwilling to pay the premium to own and carry their fancy baubles. We got rich by NOT being penny wise and pound foolish...we just don't buy high premium gadgets (but I will pay $200K for a Bosendorfer imperial grand piano). Intel is not in mobile...period...(except insofar as phones are connected to servers). As an investor who owns lots of Intel stock, I don't give a damn about mobile..it is smaller market than Intel's gross revenues, and it is not going to grow as much as many other things. Intel is a big data server company, and has a vested interest in maximizing the whole data center nexus, of which mobile phones will increasingly become a smaller slice of pie. When are you going to get that fact straight? Perhaps only when you too have lots of $$$ and don't care so much about gimmicky products?
I am concerned when I see BK spinning so much about diversity hires and HR rubbish. I am concerned about a perception of delays on the overall process, and there is a (deliberate) lack of transparency in which you must trust that they are doing great things and want total proprietary closure. I am concerned when I don't see Intel suing the pants off people who write for such rag sheets, as MF, who spew misinformation, distortion and inuendo. For that, I don't know how much to trust BK. But people who keep spinning the "PC is dead" mantra or the "how inferior is Intel in mobile" mantra are simply agendist muckrakers...as I said, you sound exactly like that idiot who writes all of those hypocritcal MF articles....lopsided and myopic, a pseudo-savant, shallow, throwing around technical terms with no understanding of how the technology actually works, and someone with little skin in the game. I'd like to see that guy in jail because he is costing people who may not understand Intel an opportunity to become wealthy and wise.
