A few years ago I did see an old interview with an or the FDA director.
One year ago I tried to find it again but only found a few phrases in writing.
It was something like ...we will never approve to an individual or a company unless they have unlimited resources...
I will never forget what I saw in his expression and his voice...still gives me the shivers
I will try to find it this weekend and post it
Must have been the old culture, but he was convincing...I do not know about his motives...I can only guess

I think we, including BIEL management, need to wake up and stop kidding ourselves....but there are solutions...
