Good evening from Finland!

I found an article that VTT (Technical Research Centre of Finland) is starting a 1.4 million € research project of digital spare parts. The collaborating companies are 3D Online Factory Oy, 3DTech Oy, AM Finland Oy, Hetitec Oy, Kone Oyj, Laserle Oy, Materflow Oy, Multiprint 3D Oy, Patria Aviation Oy, Raute Oyj, Rolls-Royce Oy Ab, Sacotec Components Oy and Wärtsilä Finland Oy.

A quote from the article (my translation from Finnish): "Challenges and areas of development can be found for example from assuring the operational reliability of critical parts..." And because of that sentence I contacted them and asked if they have heard that Sigma Labs is offering a commercial solution to this.

I'm not expecting them to make an order for PrintRite3D® for the project but I think it's good to spread the word and there are some big companies involved who should be aware that a solution to assuring the quality of AM parts already exists. I'll let you know if they answer me.
