One of the definitions of insanity that appeals to me is: doing the same thing over and over again with the same result and hoping that the next time the outcome will be different. There are several foibles of the human condition embedded in this definition. But none so salient and pertinent here than to say that buying GERS common stock and expecting it to increase in value is INSANE.
