CEPSA has no reason in the world to disclose anything. They are basically a privately owned company owned by middle eastern interests. They have no public shareholders and they have no governmental reporting requirements. Those waiting for news from CEPSA will likely never get it.

It wasn't too different with Sinopec who is public but who was controlled by the Chinese government. They have no reason to disclose anything either and their E&P division is so dwarfed by refining that nothing was ever material.

You have to question ERHC's choice of partners. While both had a lot of money to throw around, ERHC couldn't have picked better partners if they wanted to hide and obfuscate. Unfortunately neither is known for their technical expertise let alone their openness. That's a problem.
