While it sounds good, as usual the big question is where's the money?

As described in the release, Harman “partnered with InterDigital” (my emphasis). The partnership will be with Harman’s Connected Services Division. For more information on the Connected Services Division:

Harman is on a fiscal (not calender) year reporting basis. According to their latest 10-Q, for the six month period ending 31 Dec 2015 The Connected Services Division revenue was $343,425,000.
