Going private could be that simple. Sell 20% minority stake in the company to a new strategic partner. Take the money to buy out the 33% public float. You gain more control of the company than you had before and new business opportunities. You save costs going forward and get rid of annoying shareholders. Shareholders get away from the money trap that this stock has been. It's a win win situation.
