FISH: You have it backwards, It was IDCC that originally fought against LG's filing for arbitration.

LG filed for arbitration in 2012 in order to get out of the ITC 800 case. The ITC agreed with LG. IDCC appealed that decision. In 2014, after a decision by the Supreme Court regarding IDCC's appeal, the parties (LG & IDCC) agreed to the arbitration.

All we know is that LG's original arbitration request was that they claimed that they had a 3G license even though the license had expired. We don't know what the arbitration and the award actually covered.

Last week's court filing was just a normal request by IDCC for the court to confirm the award so a judgement against LG can be issued.

I agree that IDCC should be able to give out some more information without violating the confidentiality surrounding arbitration. I am hoping that the forthcoming 10-K, and the related earnings CC, will give some more details.
